Board Game Donation to B4:

Dear B4 Parents,

As you know the winter weather brings in the rain and our students are placed in doors for recess when it is wet or pouring rain outside.  B4 has some games such as puzzles, jenga, and a checker board, but not enough to go around.  If possible, if you can donate a game such as checkers, connect four, or any other appropriate 2nd grade game to our classroom.  This way all the students will have the opportunity to play board games during indoor recess.

Thank you,
Mr. Gomez

B4 Halloween Reminder

October 31, 2012 Wednesday

Students are not allowed to wear their custom to school in the morning.  However, they can wear it at the end of the day.  The student will need to put their costume in a bag to bring to school.  I will give the student a chance to change into their costume after lunch.  Also, the costume must comply with the school dress code.  No spaghetti straps, baggy clothes, or make up on.  If the costume does not comply with the school dress code, the student will not be allowed to wear his/her costume.

As for snacks, the student can bring treats, but they must have enough to share with all of the students in class.

If you have any questions or concerns, please fill out a contact form through our classroom website at:

Mahalo,

Culture Project and Weekly Tests.

Weekly Tests
I will have the weekly test passed out to the students tomorrow, Friday.  I have finished grading the Math and Spelling Test, but almost finished with the Language Arts test.  I will have the tests given to the students tomorrow so you can look it over the weekend and turn it back in on Monday.

Culture Project due date changed from Oct 22 to Oct 31
As for the Cultural Project, I will extend the deadline.  Instead of October 22 being the due date.  I will change the due date of the project to October 31st.  This will give the students time to research and practice with their presentation.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.

~Mr. Gomez~

Parents and students, you can finally click on a link to print out the daily homework.  If your child forgot his or her homework worksheet at school.  Just go to Mr. Gomz's Homework section and you can pull up the homework and print it out.  Here is the link to Mr. Gomez's homework section:

September 18, 2012 Tuesday will be B4's Picture taking day.  Please dress up and bring your big smiles tomorrow.

Please fill out the Federal Survey Card with a PEN, not with a pencil.  We need all of the cards turned in.  This will help our school with federal funding.

Also,  I will have your child's Math and Reading tests graded.  I still have a few papers to grade and I will send them out on Thursday or Friday.
